Love Island season 6 felt a lot more natural in terms of getting ppl’s genuine reactions to situations that were happening. Also, a reason that I feel like this season was a lot less so is because of the popularity that season 6 got. The US version was so popular that I think it got more viewers that Love Island UK season 6 that was going on around the same time.

Tyla isn't Afrobeats. Afrobeats is Nigerian. Her music is based in amapiano, South African house music. It has similar sounds to Afrobeats (heavily percussive), but I think that also contributes to why she stands out. She's out first mainstream amapiano artist to crossover into a global space. Ayra's sound is distinctly Afrobeats, which is becoming mad oversaturated at this point.
