Basics of Frequency Separation
🕑 Added 2020-06-05 18:38:46 +0000 UTCThis short video shows the basics of how I use frequency separation. You may have seen in my other videos that I simply have an action to create the layers for me. Which I would strongly advise you to do also if you are using this technique. But perhaps you are not familiar with actions, and therefore unsure how I was splitting the image into high and low. - Well. Now you know. :)

Right. Im trying to figure out how to do that in the best possible way. It would probably be simple just to put a camera in the corner and let it record. But I guess that may also be kinda boring. And the model also has to be okay with being recorded all the time, so I need to figure that out. Actually I have some very old vids of me having a gopro attached to my main camera recording while shooting. I can upload those here too, altho they are probably 5 or more years old. The shooting process has not changed alot since tho. Just the light and editing has hopefully improved.

Would be nice to see a video of the shoot. Like a bug on the wall so to speak. I'm curious on what goes on, and what is done between the pictures. Would be nice to see a couple of different model shoots. Unless each model does it all in one go, and you just snap while posing. I hardly doubt that though :D
