[Wips]: welcome home pt. 2

Today I found out one of my favorite KaiMei artists is super homophonic, and not only that, they used their platform to spew hate and spread misinformation.. thankfully a bunch of people called them out for it. But itโs still such a huge disappointment, since I got a lot of inspiration from their works. ๐๐
It seems to be a pattern, when I find an artist (usually Japanese or East Asian) I really like, they turn out to be problematic, or ship really *strange* pairings (ahem Kai/Len, Luka/Rin etc).
Oh, that and there was a massive tornado warning in my area. ๐ฉ Itโs all clear now, and I am safe. (But it was a real scare ๐ญ).
I guess what I aim to do is become the artist who produced the content I want to see, and seek out. That way I can create exactly what I want to see, especially with KAIMEI. ๐ฅน๐โค๏ธ
Itโs been a really long day but I wanted to share some works in progress here to lighten the mood..

As for the drawings omggg ๐โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ KAITO being a clingy boyfriend/husband to MEIKO is my religion ๐๐๐ can't wait to see this piece painted. Especially that one where he's laying on top of her ๐ฅน๐คโค๏ธ๐๐

Oh my... So this is what you were talking about on Twitter. I hadn't seen this post before, so I was quite lost haha I'm so sorry ๐ it's horrible when others leave a stain in our beautiful fandom ๐ญ hopefully the artist will reflect in their actions after being called out...
