Nope you don't but it seems like you need to at least unlock Keros who gives you that offer to trigger it

Hopefully you don't have to be a kitsune for the scene, as I'd rather save my soul for Lumina (if we get a chance one day to bed that goddess)

For Miko, I was able to get the scene after finishing the Metal quest + the other quest which nakano gives out as it then summoned keros on giving you a choice to transform into a kitsune by giving up your soul.

i feel dumb, I've been going back and forth between the village and the den but I haven't encountered her in any "heat" nor has my continued copulation with elthara at the wayfort resulted in her pregnancy, am I missing something?

The codes are rotated the first backer patch following a public one. They work for all following backer patches until a new code is created. This cycle's code is in a post from a few weeks ago.

cloud saves are not working for me so i cant seem to save any progress made between builds

They've had a code you enter into the beta section of the settings on the game, that they post with every backer patch so that backers who also support them on Patreon, can use the Steam client version of the game if they have it instead of having to manually download each new version of the game. If you go back to look at previous update posts on here, there's always a code in the information drop that says Steam Key. The only exception is this patch and the previous one, everything before that had a beta code for the Steam version of the game as far as I'm aware. So yes, the Steam version is a one-time purchase without the backer version, but as I said, they allow people who have the game and support on here too, to use their preferred platform.

Isn't steam a one off payment which meant you don't get the backer builds? I thought the last two patches were backer builds except the mid may one.

I may have missed some news at one point, but is there a reason that you're no longer supplying a Steam code for the updates? I much prefer to use the Steam version, since I won't have to worry about downloading anything new, since Steam takes care of it after the code has been added for the beta.
