Really though we're talking about a time shortly after a massive war with a powerful enemy in medieval times. Only royalty would be overweight and even then the baroness is pretty slender comparable to other characters. It's kind of appropriate considering the situation. You have to be tough to survive in the world of CoCII.

I like the illustrations but can you get an artist who's not into super thick muscly thighs? Sometimes seems like all the art is a gym junkies fantasy with no room for anything else

i the ones that show other characters and situations(like the Kiyoko and Byvernia), but i think its best not to show total scenes because it always breaks immersion really hard when the player character equivalent is very obviously not my character (like the orc shaman one).

An example of why we still need them in romantic scenes is Rindo. She is a treasure, and I love the scene in-text when you meet her. Every illustration of her is great, but that first one really sets the mood so nicely.

I voted for #1 but I like the idea of prominent/iconic non-sex scenes getting illustrations. (i.e. any wedding scenes)

Proper illustrations can really enhance the story.

Illustrations are fine, and even when they do get added the game would still be primarily text based anyway. So all that really being added is a bit more variety

Work has not started on it and probably *won't* for quite a long time (probably closer to when CoC2's done). I don't wanna take Wsan off writing for the game when there's loads left for all of us to do. Especially with Khor'minos on the horizon and Wsan being the lead storyboi there.

I was surprised when Evelyn alley-scene included pictures. The artist did a great job drawing her. While we are talking about Evelyn. How is the Evelyn standalone-game-project-thingy that you mentioned earlier doing?

I generally enjoy illustrations but I won't force or make people make them. They normally enhance the scene.

I enjoy the illustrations regardless of the situation, but I would suggest they be character focused and limit the PC as each of us have a different look to our PC's the effect can be jarring when the PC is shown.
