Discovered a good app Shazam to help me find what these songs are🥳 This podcast reminds me of the days when I'd listen to every song on the billboard chart. Keep adding new songs to my playlist🤙🏻Thanks!✨ Ohh BTS is cool, went to their concert a few years ago. I didn’t understand Korean back then (still don’t know much now😂) but i could really vibe with their songs. And I think the message they want to convey in some of their lyrics are great too. K-pop is very popular in my city, maybe every teenager has the urge to color their hair at some point🤣

When you mentioned No Doubt, literally started singing Rich Girl. Absolutely love Gwen Stefani’s music. I used to have a Kpop phase (mostly Shinee) but the guy who introduced me to it found out I liked him and got creeped out. He told me brown girls weren’t his type then began avoiding me haha I felt heartbroken to the point where I hated Kpop because it reminded me of him. When I think about it, I was pretty immature. Everyone has a right to have preferences but when you’re still developing mentally and physically, being angry is such a freeing and easy thing to do. Only a year ago I heard BTS and now I’m jamming to Kpop 😭 Their music is so energising. I play it near the end of any playlist when I’m on the elliptical to give me that push haha
