These are my favorite “ Buddy Cop “ movies, even over Rush Hour & Bad Boys series . But MJ I know u ain’t dismiss Beverly Hills Cop series yet. But u gotta watch 48 Hours & Another 48 hours with Eddie Murphy. Those weee the very first “ Buddy Cop “ movies that came out in the early 80s .

Two things…don’t forget us older people were young once lol so we can kind of relate. Also as far as him being that low to the point of putting the gun in his mouth. I’ve been that low before. Not to the point of tasting a gin but to the point of contemplating ending it. I can agree that yes it does get better.

FYI; I'm an old guy, it's not as bad as you think, not great but not horrible! The hard part is when you start realizing you're not as young as you used to be. It usually occurs in relation to something painful, LOL. Pain doors hurt, who knew; old fools do, LOL

Lethal Weapon is such an iconic movie! Screenwriter Shane Black does an excellent job of showing the relationship between Riggs and Shaw as both combative and endearing. The dynamic between them became the inspiration for many a buddy-cop action film.

Oh you’re watching this version of lethal weapon, the one I’d watched had a few more extra scenes during the beginning of the movie, like Riggs shooting a school shooter, roger at the the shooting range etc.
