You ever watch the Proud Family? Cedric the Entertainer is the voice of Bobby Proud and he was using his singing voice in parts of the song at their reunion. It's just that's my favorite parts of the movie the Bobby Proud voice

The original plot for this movie came from the 1983 classic movie “National Lampoons Vacation”. This is a re-work of that comedy. Check it out and you’ll see the similarities. The actor that played Steve Harvey’s son is the same kid in “Are We There Yet”, which was released the next year. “Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins” came out later as well.

This movie actually came out a few years before Are We There Yet and Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they got some ideas from this movie. This movie is a good watch. Feel free to watch any kind of movie you like. Bow Wow was everywhere during this period due to him being the biggest teen rapper at the time. The reason why Steve Harvey didn’t pursue more acting roles is because he chose talk shows, tv show hosting & mentoring young men. Here’s a fun fact: Nikki was played by Solange Knowles. She’s the sister of Beyonce.
