He didn’t cheat on her, that’s where you were mistaken. She believed her drama starting ass sister and thought he was. Therefore said she was done supporting him and shortly after, his goals started to go into effect. This man was broke and down bad, she supported him until she felt like she couldn’t anymore, fine. Don’t be upset when he begins to succeed afterwards…

I don’t think there was a villian at all in the movie .. he had a dream , she believed in him & went broke , he cheated on her & got her mom’s house foreclosed .. she had every right to be mad & he had every right to move on … also you said he went with the girl that supported his dreams , Melinda literally was married to this man supporting him the whole time 😂

He literally didn’t ask for a divorce. She did. He could have supported her 100% but that’s it. He paid her back and MORE for her wasted years. He promised those things to the woman he would marry when he fulfilled his dream. She divorced him before that could happen… listening to her sisters about him cheating when he wasn’t. It’s ridiculous to think her reaction was warranted when they literally put in the movie she was NOT okay in the head.

I’ve been waiting for this reaction & this is one of Tyler Perry’s best movies. Taraji P. Henson has been acting since the 90s. She’s appeared on tv shows such as Saved By The Bell, Sister Sister, The Parenthood & Smart Guy. Baby Boy was her breakout role & she’s one of the most improved actresses because she didn’t become typecasted due to her role in Baby Boy.
