see i thought something along the same lines but what i thought was eve saw that her father was telling the truth in her vision and cicely lied but since their father was already gone she just decided to protect her sister and keep it a secret. but i LOVE your take on it too!

I’ve seen this movie quit a few times and In the end nothing was confirm except for what led up to the event that happened between Louis and cicely. In the end my theory is that Louis vision was the truth. I think cicely kissed him and when he slapped her it caused her to breakdown, she was hurt and embarrassed by her father slapping her for kissing him, and that's why she told the story differently. I think eve only saw the slap in her vision so that’s why she wanted him dead (plus the affairs). I don’t think he was doing anything inappropriate to cicely as he was too busy with his mistresses. When he was around them it’s was giving daddy and daughters innocent interaction. Nothing seem weird or off leading up to cicely kissing him. Also think about it If he was molesting his own daughter then why would he randomly slap or reject her now? Especially drunk? That doesn't make sense.

I think the Dad was telling the truth. Coming from the child’s perspective she didn’t understand what she did was wrong so when Eve read her palms its was pretty much from an innocent perspective. I think that’s why when her dad hit her there was confusion.
