To be real the real story of Rico (real name Alpo) wasn’t set up by Ace(Wood Harris) to get locked up that was lie the studio did the Real Story Of AZ (Which is the real Ace who written the movie) said the studio people change the story around at the ending…. I think Rico was jealous because Ace gave Mitch the bricks with little pushback which makes sense considering Sonny was missing. And furthermore Ace knew Mitch way before Rico so their bond was solid as a rock. But Rico was nothing but a damn snake. Anyway some more movies you should check out are Sugar Hill (1994), In Too Deep, and Higher Learning.
