Oswin's story is so tragic. It's peak body horror and really hits a "oh god... oh my god... oh no" nerve for me. There's redemption and heroism in her fortitude and refusal to become the monster they made her... but still, so tragic.

It was good Amy and Rory got back together in the end, I think there would have been violence in the streets if those two actually broke up this episode lol

I've really enjoyed going back and watching these with you Emme. I think the last time I've seen most of these seasons were when they originally aired. For whatever reason, though, my memory gets fuzzy from here on out. Life was getting...challenging for me when this season aired and it stayed that way for a good while. So, while I do remember an episode here and there, and loving every bit of it, a lot of it is cloudy. It's taking a lot for me to not press that "Next Episode" button. It's like watching these for the first time, again. Maybe this time I'll get to fully enjoy it.

I don't care how anyone else feels about it, I freaking LOVE it when they do the "doctor who?" joke in this show. It's the perfect way to cheekily point out how amazing the mystery of it all really is. :)
