Man I remember watching this episode as a kid and thinking it's really cool. Now watching it as an adult and sobbing my eyes out. How times change.

this always makes me cry like i can’t believe i cried again, it’s a really interesting and good idea for an episode even if it’s so sad, i love what amy says about inner beauty being so much more important and someones personality can make them the most beautiful person in the world, not just inside but outside too because it’s like who they are is written on their face and vise versa can make someone ugly. i guess the reason she doesn’t want to save her past is kind of like if the present you changes something about your own past, the you that you are now will never experience the new timeline, present you would just cease to exist and be replaced by a new version of you, so older amy will never get to live and experience her new life, who she has become now will just die and she’ll never see it, someone else will while she’s just gone i guess
