Henry Avery/Every was indeed a real pirate whose short but successful career ended with his disappearance. His treasure never was found.

Oh no! Rory died again.... 😒 Through the lens of time I often think that they are lucky they cast the roles so well, because they had some pretty awful writing to sell. It is always great to see Hugh Bonneville 😁
