I realy like these episodes and the introduction of Clara. And technically we didn't witness Amy and Rory's death as they died in the past but there is a cool true crime-esk video from Harbo Wholmes about the mysterious unsolved disappearance of Amy and Rory.

Yes, and for some silly reason, New-Who has gotten shy about that tradition... even when they did it, and not showing a clear face like Classic did before... coz they think it's cheesy or something and perhaps assuming coz they don't like it, no one does, if I remember correctly what I read about this... kind of sad really...

I'm not keen on that BBC logo sound myself either, the BBC did have better and iconic ones in the past, like they had on the early VCR videos, they had a cool pah-pah--dah daah-de-deeh pa-paah, kind of synth sound, and then a smooth dooh-deeh-dee-dum-de-dum sound, it's not easy to describe unless you hear them for yourself
