Two amazing bits about this episode: 1. Donna acting as a moral anchor for the Doctor. "Not the whole town! Just save SOMEone!" 2. The effect that the Doctor has wherever he goes. Like the boy said in Family of Blood "he is like fire, and ice, and rage". People die, but others are truly inspired by the Doctor to become better (the teenager begins studying to become a doctor, and genuinely takes pride in thanking The Doctor and Donna as household gods). Great stuff. S4 is some peak who, you're probably going to want to start keeping a tissue box near you as you keep getting through the episodes and seasons lol
