i LOVED this, i think it's definitely my favorite christmas special so far out of all of them. it was so beautiful and felt christmas-y the entire time.

I cant tell if this is such a banger episode because of what inspired it or because Moffat cooked with the writing. Ending gets me everytime. Weird seeing Dumbledore be so cruel but Michael Gambon nailed it

This is definitely my favorite Christmas special! It's one I make sure to watch every year. Moffat's more whimsical writing style really suits Christmas specials in particular.
