Honestly so valid with the "I can't believe there's only a few episodes left" feeling, when I watched it there was only the last episode left to release and they hadn't even announced S2 yet and I was so sad, this show is a masterpiece, at least now we know there will be a season 2 soon! I absolutely love as well how Himmel is portrayed like the "Main character" would be in a JPRG/RPG, just like you said every gamer knows, when I play these types of JRPGs I also have to explore every inch of the dungeon before going down a ladder and take that 1% chance on a mimic... The concept of a companion having a life "After journeys end" and being so heavily influenced by the main character is such a great one and they made it so beautifully poignant with the way they lean into the passage of time so heavily, I can't believe it was never thought of before!
