That last question is/was my situation with an old friend of mine. We were really close back in middle to high school (5-10 years ago) and near the end of high school/after Graduation, we kinda just drifted off to do our own things. Still talked occasionally but yk life stuff. I found out last year he apparently traded nudes with a minor and that was my immediate point of “we didn’t really get along now anyway, and this is unacceptable.” I keep trying to just ghost him, unadding him and what not, but my friend who was also close with us (a trio of you will) wants to bring closure to the situation because the other friend is “confused” as to why we drifted apart and why I’m ignoring him. I don’t think he deserves my time of day, especially since we haven’t been close since around 2018-2019. Sometimes the best strat is to just let it slide, and if they ever ask (unless they do something unacceptable like he did) you explain it.

The best relationship advice I’ve ever given to a friend is to talk it out. And I learned that from aimen’s stories. I think I said “communication is key”, which sounds stupid but worked. And it’s fs true. Always message, even if it is uncomfortable
