as someone who witnessed overwatch crash and burn rivals is a breath of fresh air , it is frustrating to listen to four people who have never played either game bash it with no reference point. also gm is not “plat” they just use GM instead of masters or ascendent

Honestly getting to plat is easy cause of the shield, it disappears from that point and diamond is where bans are implemented so thats where the game really gets competitive imo cause you dont one trick as much

I've put over 200 hours into marvel so far. The reason people that aren't normally good are better at rivals is bc the game is less reliant on aim and more reliant on timing abilities and knowledge of choke points and positioning of your character. Hit boxes are bigger then they seem so shittier players can still get some value. Especially since 3rd person changes the way you're supposed to aim.

I have never seen a faster crash out (personally) than Nick's Severance arc. The issue with Hero Shooters vs Tac Shooters is that Hero Shooters have too much information on the screen that is overly repetitive and super difficult to comprehend in the moment while Tac Shooters are more slower paced and easier to view and understand the information on screen.
