Because the way I interpreted Nicks question was that.” Aiden- “yes, it’s the way I’d generally act when I was in that scenario. To my understanding, the question is “would you narc”, Ludwig says no he’d turn in hw quietly, Aiden says he did do that, slime needs clarification but gets interrupted, slime asks “so would you narc”, slime gets verbally jumped, nick distracts everyone from the original question. the question is “would you narc” which requires a yes or no answer. Aiden’s answer was “i did something else” but he doesn’t say “no I wouldn’t narc” TLDR: win for slime, aiden balding

In Finland, we tend to eat dinner quite early at 4-6pm, and then have an another word thats basically "breakfast" but instead its "nightfast" or something like that, and thats at like, 9pm-12am or something, where you make a sandwich, porridge, cereal or something like that. Its like a proper meal like breakfast is, not just an opt in "you can have a late night snack if you want". Its probs that way since we eat dinner so early, and we probs eat dinner early because it gets dark early here

yeah and then nick kept comparing it to if aiden had said he hasnt done it, but aiden directly answered his question by saying he HAD done it. nicks two examples were “if i ask you a hypothetical if you would kick a child and you answered with well i havent before that doesnt answer it” but aiden responded with “i have kicked one before” which not only directly answers his hypothetical if he would do it, but goes a step beyond and shows he has. aimen was 1000% right to be flabbergasted and i was wishing i was in that room to stick of up for aiden

How is this difficult to understand?" "Yeah I'd still do the same thing, based on my past experience since it happened." "This is a hypothetical so it's different, so answer the question. Aiden even tries to clarify by asking if he has his adult brain because that would alter his answer. But his answer wouldn't change if it was his second grade brain because this already happened to his younger self. The simulation has already been run as naturally as possible as he literally just gave you the outcome void of any bias his older self could add. Slime: "what would you do if you got struck by lightning, would you call a friend or maybe call 911?" "Well I did get hit by lightning once, and yeah I called 911 immediately after" Nick: "Yeah but saying you literally did that and saying you would do it in this hypothetical is two different questions. You're answering you've done this before and he's saying would you do this? Imagine yourself that age again? " Aiden: "uhh so do I have my adult brain? What's different than when I actually got hit by lightning."? Nick: "no it's a hypothetical, what's wrong with you?" Aiden: "Maybe I'm misunderstanding" Nick: "Just because you called 911 in that hypothetical that turned out to actually happen to you doesn't mean you'll do it in a hypothetical. Someone can still ask if I'm capable of that behavior in that situation even if you did a different thing before." As for the melee analogy. If you asked if wavedashes after every throw or whatever (I don't know melee) . He wouldn't go," Well last time I did that so sure". He would probably answer it's situational or only in certain circumstances. Not all hypothetical questions are the same. Not all draw their answers from the same place.

In high school I let people copy off of me during the final so they wouldn't have to take the class again. There were like 5-6 people that got 90s on it and I got a 98. The whole school was bad educationally so it never really mattered in the long run other than no one had to retake the class.
