The Questions
00:05:51 - I'm deciding between my wedding aesthetics or a personal relationship.
00:22:43 - When do I tell a girl about my legal battle that may be emotionally disturbing to discover?
00:33:52 - An old acquaintance used to host parties when I was 19-22. They secretly filmed them all and have a ton of blackmail for the whole friend group now.
00:47:29 - I have the opportunity to study abroad but I'm afraid I might hate Germans.

"I'm a Portland 8/10" Sorry, you're probably not. Also, that entire question was so bafflingly unhinged. They seem scared of Germans like Lovecraft was scared of everyone not Anglo-Saxon.

Nah slime was one HUNDRED percent right on his analysis of this and I’m not saying that just because it aligns with my take. It sounds like she just doesn’t want her cousins to dress in men’s clothing (and have to see it in the future/have it disrupt the “aesthetic” of the photos) which is ultimately vain. She can say that and accept that she’s being an asshole and have it her way but she needs to hold that fact. Period.

She was clearly wanting to meet in the middle. At that point it’s on the cousin. Ultimately this was a question best for Aiden’s wheelhouse.

Slime was right through a lot of this and I appreciate his perspective and thoughtfulness as a queer person.

The first person is so weird I’m sorry… this is probably a generational difference but if I was getting married I would ONLY care about the people that I love being there. Asking someone to wear something that they are uncomfortable wearing is so fucking weird just don’t have them be part of your wedding pyramid and accept that you’re a dick atp.

personally, ive been the person who doesnt wanna wear a dress at points in my life, and i genuinely still think that if you dont wanna wear the dress you just gotta be chill with being a guest. You have more fun as a guest anyway. I think its more unreasonable to say you wont wear the outfit meant for the bridesmaids under any circumstances and then be mad that that may mean you dont get to be one.

Alex had that information on lock. Reactionary knowledge. Didn't even need to think about it

For the first question. you could also see if they are willing to compromise. I.E. explicitly for the ceremony, could you wear the dress, so that it is even on each side. During the party and else, you can wear the suit. That way, the situation is half and half what each other wants.
