You can absolutely skip your placebo pills and do all active! That is what I do, your body will convey it to you somehow if you need to take a break to bleed and I can not begin to explain how much life I have gained back from doing this. I get one light period loosely every 3 months now and this is coming from someone who had like eight days of cramps that can make ya puke. It definitely works for some people and doesn’t work for others, for me personally it is mad swag because I’ve got some stupid hormone type shit goin on. Thanks for being curious men!! Genuinely appreciated hearing that dialogue goin on :)

Oh and since stopping taking all forms of birth control my body feels better. My cramps are not bad anymore, and my periods are more regulated than they used to be. There’s always up and downs on taking any form of BC, but if you feel like having your mind blown read the side effects of bc— it’s crazy

Also there’s period tracker apps and they help us remind us about when it’s going to come up, helps figuring out what we’re feeling this way, and lets us ask questions about our own bodies. There’s also one that tells you your star signs and shit like that😂

A period haver here— so I was put on birth control pills when I was 13 or 14 to regulate my period due to having two a month and the cramps were awful, I’m talking bed ridden, missing days or even the full week of school because of the cramps. It helped with both and I didn’t really have issues with taking it until the older I got the more I became nausea and just didn’t feel right so I stopped all forms of birth control. My sister on the other hand also did the shot and patch and she would go months without a period and eventually quit because it’s just make her sick

Also I have tried using an app for tracking and all that, that shit is hard man and you can also have an irregular cycle so sometimes the tracker is wrong anyway. And imo all schools and workplaces should offer free period products just like they offer toilet paper! It’s a necessity

As a period haver, i use a patch (think like nicotine) and thus don’t have a notif anymore however when i used to have one and all my friends who have one have the default blaring alarm full blast that says “bc dont forget”

About the period thing, I went to a gyno because I was having debilitating period cramps every period and their solution for me was to start taking the pill and to not take period breaks. Not sure about the side effects of that, however my quality of life has increased from not being stuck in bed for a week every single month :^)
