Taking a charge in pickup basketball is usually cringe because it’s dangerous for the guy taking the charge. Usually you’re taking the pickup game too seriously if you’re trying to take a charge in pickup lol BUT if a guy keeps running into you and lowering his shoulder constantly, it’s based. In this case Aiden’s right, Ludwig’s wrong. Ludwig’s just brute forcing his way to the basket like a football player which, at the end of the day, shows a lack of finesse

Slime is 100% right about the kickflip and I’ve commented this on the YouTube vids, the best thing to learn after Ollie is moving Ollie. The progression should go Ollie -> moving Ollie -> kickflip. Skipping the moving Ollie will make learning kickflip a million times harder. Also, hyped that nick is hitting the parks 🛹 he’s got the right idea - get comfortable riding on different terrain and the other shit will come

i played basketball for 16 years, organized and pickup- typically not going to be calling pansy fouls in a pickup game but if your drive is just running people down like a linebacker (ludwig i saw that jasontheween game) youre asking for a charge. if you want to back people down in the post, you have to put your ass out and back it up like a truck. if you want to charge forward, you have to go around the defender
