Canada wilderness more colder tho. US is possible but you gotta stay in fr wilderness areas. When my dad worked for the forest service part of his earlier career was helping law enforcement scout out guys tryna hide out in the national forests. But US has enough area to work with for sure

Not really wanting to get into the guts of the back and forth here, but rather address the main point of the convo-I'm someone who has a pretty big history of caffeine dependence AND got on Armodafinil (basically the sister drug to modafinil) to help with this exact issue My main concern for OP would be what I experienced; I don't drink energy drinks, just coffee, but I was clearing 1k mg of caffeine every day. Adding the meds DID help reduce the intake and help with my teeth, BUT since I also just enjoyed the coffee, I still continued drinking it. It's less than half the amount I used to though. Main side effects I experience from the meds (obviously different for everyone) actually AREN'T from withdrawal, but rather if you try to start it back up after not taking it for awhile. It basically feels like what I think sounds like a normal person's caffeine overload (jitters, headache, heart palpations and anxiety, difficulty focusing). I ONLY get these side effects if I'm not taking the meds daily though. Coincidentally my mom takes modafinil and she gets super nauseous and has random GI issues when taking it regularly. TLDR; both will have side effects, but it did help, so just be honest with your doctor if you do talk to them.

A quick take about the first question for the asker (Content Warning: Sexual Abuse) - . . . . . . . . . . . The most important thing is talking to your friend about whether it's okay to confront your mother about the past. If it's okay & you want to confront, I think the best way to frame it would be to question why your mom allowed your uncle to be around you and your sister after the fact. Just knowing that there was a possibility of malicious intent makes this unforgivable and deserves an explanation. So deeply sorry that your friend had to go through this and to you both for having to deal with this.

For nicotine, caffeine and dopaminergic stimulants the difficulty of weening is fully dependent on the amount and intensity. I can’t get modafinil here but I would assume the symptoms of withdrawal would be similar. If this person can’t manage his tolerance and dependence on caffeine then recommending anything would be like giving heroin to an alcoholic.

forwhat its worth caffeine guy, if you are interested in slimes joke but it does seem a lil much, look into modafinil, its the real blue collar hack up in the north east and its way easier to ween off of then lots of caffeine or amphetamines i promise

as a former monster addict, switching to gfuel (or another similar drink in this case) genuinely helped my life, my teeth, and my body. It probably does have other shit in there, certain sweeteners and other stuff, but all I know is that drinking gfuel instead of monster I feel a whole lot better across the board. It even helped me cut down on caffeine a lot to now be able to say im definitely not an addict anymore

energy drink guy should logically switch to caffeine pills idk. maybe make sure ur eating food too cuz if ur hopped out your mind on stims all day your appetite is probably fucked and not eating will ruin your teeth ask any current/former anorexic.
