Like when the first episode came out I was stocking shelves in a grocery store with like no direction in my life and now I’m a chef at a Michelin Star restaurant and it’s just really cool to hear the parallels in my progression of life with how Aidan describes his. As someone in his mid 20s with a very tight nit group of friends that some of us have been friends for almost 2 decades, I’m often wondering when/how our group will eventually end and so to see that talked about as well as such a genuine appreciation of your close friendships, this episode hit me hard.

I thought for sure it would be the worst episode because how can one man carry a 4 many show. I didnt think any one of the 4 could make a good episode on their own, especially the punching bag. Somehow my goat brought it in a completely different direction that I don’t think any of the rest could do and exceeded all expectations. It was really fascinating to hear about your relationships with your friends and how you can specifically pinpoint a memory that made you change how you are as a person and that made me really relate to the bad (and good) memories that I have had with my friends and how much I’ve changed because of those moments in my life. I think that this was worth it to me and easily justifies paying for access to these (and to the advice show), but unfortunately since this is the first and only episode that I have listened to, it is objectively the worst one that I have ever heard. Sorry.

Aiden’s sincerity and kindness shines through every single episode and is highlighted here. I genuinely believe the yard would be a significantly worse show without Aiden as the heart and soul of it. Without him it’s just three funny guys goofing and gaffing with no real meaning or purpose. Aiden ties everything together and his willingness to show true emotion adds weight to the show that it wouldn’t have without him. Aiden crying on the podcast remains one of my favorite moments ever from any piece of media and let me know it’s ok to show my emotions sometimes. This was a fantastic episode that genuinely made me tear up. You’re not an imposter Aiden you deserve this success for always continuing to be the most genuine version of yourself. ❤️

Aiden is a very likeable guy, his explanation of his feelings was both enlightening and I feel it allowed me to connect more with my own emotions despite my situation being very different. However, the device of the therapist felt extremely forced. The attempted comedy just didn't hit for me and it felt like him copping out from expressing his true feelings. It's completely understandable but it took me out of listening experience. I have never commented before and probably won't comment again but it genuinely made my day better listening to this.
