100% understand Aiden. I can only process one language stream at a time. Listening, reading or writing blocks all the other inputs or outputs. My primary school teacher made my mum test me for hearing loss because it was so bad I couldn't hear her while writing.

It’s not completely turning off all brain activity though. i think it has more to do with you reading words in your head, and then someone telling you other words. Like i can listen to music and drive, but i can’t listen to my favorite song (with words) and read without ignoring the context of either the book or song.

First time patreon episode for me. I got into the Yard because I was a longtime Ludwig viewer and slime fan. I started a job a couple of months ago as a software developer. I write code for a manufacturing company, creating CNC machine tool paths programmatically. And with that being said, Aiden you have problems. I literally read and write code all day listening to the most mindless, degenerate, 4 brain-celled content possible. That's right, I listen to the Yard at work. Smh Aimen
