To add to the comedy of errors that led to the high number of fatalities in the titanic, another ship had stopped in the same icy waters and sent out a message to all other ships nearby about the danger. the message was heard by the operator on the Titanic, but it was interfering with his ability to hear another message so he basically messaged back "fuck off i'm busy". The operator on the Californian, the ship that sent the warning, then went to bed as he tried to warn the titanic. An hour later the titanic hit an iceberg and sent out a distress call that went unanswered another 20 minutes after that.

It used to be against Twitter rules to misgender someone. If you misgendered someone you would get suspended. That's why many conservatives couldn't be so openly transphobic. Then Elon took over and got rid of that rule and transphobia on Twitter got so crazy. T__T

The best thing I ever did for my twitter experience was genuinely get the extension that just removes all the algorithm shit from that hellsite. Also, there's a couple other factors contributing to Twitter just sucking shit now (you know, even more than before). Part of the reason twitter is getting worse is because Elon quite actively is refusing to pay google for the services they provide, which is a big fucking deal because that's things like bot prevention (bad as it was, it was still better than what we have now), translation stuff, content filters, and so on. Then, the whole unbanning thing, so that all the people who got banned for being pieces of shit can come back to the platform. Add in that he's vocally on their side and spreads misinformation and the like, and they're basically galvanized to be even worse pieces of shit. He also isn't paying rent and is getting twitter evicted from some of their offices and shit, so lol.
