That necklace nick was talking about is called a Maori Fishhook. They used to be made by hand, usually out of whale bone. My sculpting mentor taught me to make them since it was his main trade and I used to love making them for friends. I know lots of white guys who look like Nick who get away with wearing them, especially in SoCal
