I remember thinking Dunkey was the funniest shit back in like 2014 when I played league. Went back during quarantine, saw him fucking up the easiest period to pop off, realized exactly what Slime said, have just been quietly laughing at the weird shit he's getting up to at this point, and sighing at his fanbase.

I've never been a fan of Dunkey. I feel like he has some bias views to some video game franchises and doesn't review on an even scale. He has some jokes that make me chuckle, but I've seen him treat reviews differently just based off who made the game. I hate the fact that so many people take his word has gospel.

What I seem to see is that some dunkey videos are serious and have kinda funny jokes sprinkled in. While the other dunkey videos are pure comedy gold and are less focused on game review. It depends what he is focusing on.

The thing with Dunkey that I think Aiden was trying to get at is that despite Dunkey making fun of Sonic's glitchyness, and the clipping in and out of the world, those videos aren't meant to be shitting on the game for the bugs, but more-so show just the funny things that happened during his playthrough of the game. When it comes to his actual reviews, the Dunkviews, he goes much more in depth into the characters, the writing, voice acting, gameplay, pacing, etc. Like Aiden said, the two styles of video are so different, and Slime is correct that the "haha funny videos" are really not that funny compared to other youtubers, however, his Dunkviews are fantastic pieces of objective game review. Dunkey's Dunkviews should be a framework of how all video game reviews should be done, but instead that whole industry is really corrupt.
