This really is an incredible ep Mr. Nick. What you had to say around 49:50 about being a product of your parents guidance or of your environment really spoke to me on a very personal level. I’m in a career of construction working in a union in california working for my family’s business in that union, and even though I have a path laid out for me I feel as if I couldn’t be more confused about who I am or what I am doing. I appreciate your words

Easily one of my favorite pieces of content from The Yard. I don't always get to catch up on missed content, but if I ever see an episode of anything with Dan's name on it, then I will definitely be listening.

Watching this one for the 3rd time, such a banger

Damn this episode had some solid advice. Hearing the advice being given indirectly to one another makes it so much more authentic too. Love it.

This advice series could be its own whole separate podcast.

I don’t usually comment but I have to come in here and say thank you for this episode and for being genuine and getting Dan’s genuine input too. A lot of these questions and answers have helped me accept some shit with where I am at in my life and career situation.

I like how vulnerable this episode was. It's cool to see Nick the Artist outside of his art.

Question especially for any creatives out there on their last topic before they got into the viewer questions. Do you think there is a such thing as an incorrect interpretation when it comes to art? Or that authorial intent supercedes a viewers takeaway? I was always under the impression that both were valid
It is fun to finally hear Dan's perspective after listening to Nick and Aiden's thoughts on the show for many episodes. You can see a lot of his influence as a mentor/friend with the guys. Loving the guest episodes!
