My school had a dance and cheer team. The Dance team was so much better. They were the ones who performed halftime at every basketball game and rallies.

The real reason that disney made so many dcoms with divorced or single parents was because of the rise in divorce rates and that becoming a much more common and relatable scenario for children in the 2000s

Pretty sure most schools have a dance team. When we had pep rallies we'd see dance routines from both the cheerleaders and the dance team
