fun fact regular/combustion cars pee water out of the exhaust, the steam that comes out is about half water half co2. Also Hyrdrogen fuel cell cars are really dope to learn about. Everyone knows about electric, but hfc have different pros and cons compared to electric. elon sensationalized electric which helped improve the tech and no one has done that for hfc. Also gas/electric hybrids are pretty common, but I doubt hfc would have enough space for that. very interesting industry.

The times that you should pump the throttle on startup is when you are starting a carburated car. in new fuel-injected cars, the engine knows the air-fuel ratio (that looks a lot like a bell curve) it needs to maintain, but on a carburated car the AFR is an inefficient linear graph.

Tragically have my chemical engineering degree. Took a class about hydrogen cars back in the day. They are def the most sustainable mode of transport. The only reason they arent great for consumers is hydrogen is expensive. In terms of sustainability though they take in hydrogen and shit out water, which is p lit.

As someone getting a master's degree in sustainability, hydrogen cars are significantly greener than electric cars. Unless the electricity used to power the car is created through reusable sources like solar or wind instead of coal-generated electricity, owning an electric car doesn't make any difference in a person's carbon footprint.

So on the topic of water cars. Atleast a form of it is a huge scam, basically they sell thousand dollar kits that are just like a water tube and they tell you that it changes the oxidation of the fuel or something but its a total sham. One of the security guys that died in a recent shooting had one so it came into the media again. Basically a total scam thing that happens its crazy.

nicks right about the water in car doors. typically its due to faulty seals or corrosion but rain and humidity can infiltrate your doors so the plugs are specifically to drain them.

I would buy that the rubber grommet cap thing is for drainage, seems like a good design decision since the door is a big cavity that could hold water if like the window seal gets fucked up. but no shot that person had anywhere near that much water actually in their doors naturally, they mustve filled em up
