Slime's worst take was when he said that if you get tired of seeing only spacey matches in a melee tournament, you just need to understand the game more and then you'll get it. I've been watching melee tournaments for 6 years and yeah, Fox/Falco and Fox/Fox are the hypest sets at almost every tournament, but if you get any matchup too many times in a row or they fill up too much of Top 32, it can make you hungry for some variety. I don't think that means you understand the game less than someone who thinks otherwise. I say all this with nothing but love in my heart, please don't kill me
