as an irish person, i have to concur that this is probably one of the most egregious movies ive watched lmao. its just such a weird way of painting irish culture, since half the shit they mention is either really old-fashioned or very tourist-minded. also how (as far as i can tell) they didnt get a single irish actor to be in this movie, but still give them all bad accents is just really strange. still a fun movie to take the absolute piss out of tho.

I know I'm late - but I like that the opening dream, which felt to me like it was implied to be foresight, never was relevant again. The dream was specifically about being too tiny to be heard at the heritage fair? Why was that the open?
