I find the point people make regarding Mr Beast's Squid Game so annoying: "So amazing that he did the sets so well". How low of a bar can that be? Yes, it was a huge production, but the man employs probably a 100 people. What is more important is to discuss the content and what the community values. Arguably the biggest English speaking creator yoinked a popular idea just to capitalize on the hype. The same man who is pissed that a Russian youtuber is yoinking his content 1 to 1. To me it just felt like one of those videos showing how China replicated some European city with no soul. On a different level, it is also a question of dignity and self respect to stop for a second and think about what it means just to remake content. It requires hard work and creativity to build a unique brand and to stay original instead of "going for the bag" which seems to be the prevailing mindset for young creators. Not to project, but It seems Ludwig is a bit aware of that, thus his respect for Tom Scott. While Mogul Money is a rip off, it is at least funny and entertaining in a different way than Jeopardy because it targets a younger audience. The remake of Squid Game had no such redeeming quality.

Slime/Aiden, Personally I don't think most people come into a podcast expecting it to be "good". Especially this one because of Ludwigs younger viewerbase who may not exactly consume podcasts regularly. I think most people come into podcasts not exactly even knowing what a "podcast" is. There also isn't really a definition of WHAT a podcast actually is, is a podcast just a group of people talking? or does it require significant planning beforehand, with topics or quips or whatever. Both of those are true, some podcasts are very planned out, some podcasts are informative. some debate on things as their main point. People don't "expect" a podcast to be overly funny or entertaining or, well really anything. A podcast is a podcast. I would also like to add i don't think its feasible mentally or physically for every one on the podcast to be "funny" "into it" "attentive", i actually think its quite a good thing that it isn't like that, of course if everyone isn't attentive it becomes a problem but it gives a really good showcase for peoples personalities, with Ludwig as kind of a mediator in-between you. Like you said he is very consistent. We get these episodes as a result that can be mainly focused on one person, say a "lud ep" or a "slime ep" "nick ep" "aimen ep". It gives us the viewers a greater incite on your specific personalities and interesting things that happen or you are doing. This is further brought on by the premium episodes, where things arent as rigid feeling. The effect of this is, when you do have a "really good episode" where everyone was pretty decently funny and all talked alot. it becomes more entertaining.
