When Nick mentioned liking battle rap, I was about to launch into this elaborate explanation about this one famous German Youtuber who used to play competitive Smash and streamed on Twitch for a while and who has become a really successful rapper and this year had a post (self-)cancellation comeback where he did a rap battle against an established battle rapper and how there was so much ammunition against him and it was sort of a huge cultural moment, but then they started talking about Technoblade and I just got sad. Rest in peace, legend, we would have all lost our minds if you had been a guest on this podcast.

I’m not the yard bros, but my first party was the first time I drank, and I had 9 shots of vodka and tequila. Since I hadn’t drunk before I was wondering why I hadn’t felt it yet, so I kept taking shots. After I got the the 6th one the first few started hitting me. And by the time I got to the 9th I was gone. Couldn’t walk, or even stand for that matter. I had to go piss every 5 minutes. And as I laid on the floor watching archer eating popcorn I passed out, turns out I blacked out and still did stuff all night. Blacked out from 12am to 7am. Pretty bad

As Ludwig said Northernlion basically just cuts up his VODs and posts them to his youtube without editing. He does some custom videos for his youtube as well, and those are also just unedited gameplay. I think what makes him stand out is his ability to just speak for hours about anything and being pretty entertaining while doing so. A lot of streamers you might tune into their stream and they're just focused on the game while not saying anything, while NL won't have those lulls.
