News From the Six Realms #85 - One Hel of a Life

Another quick on today, as work is underway for the new release in the very near future, but I just wanted to check in with a couple of things. :)
Firstly, progress on the backer release is going well as usual. I already have all the Helayna content from Nyx, and the Andras NPC arc events from Exagie, and I am working on those as I wait for the other writers to get their stuff in in the next couple of days. One the art side, nearly everything is done and I've been sharing it with the backers over the last week or so. Sommy just has one or two CGs to finish up the rendering on, and then he'll start putting the variants together.
We've also been making a lot of progress on the technical side. Dragoon has brought the game up to date with Renpy 8, which probably will not be noticable on your end, but allows us to improve old code, and will allow us to do some cool stuff in the future come Act II. We've been testing that with the help of a few backers and it is pretty stable now. We have also merged all the stuff on the mechanics side we have been working on all year with the master branch to see how badly it breaks the game (which it turns out is quite a bit) and are currently engaged in ironing out all the bugs before we release them to backers. We wont have enough time to get it ready for this time, but with a bit of a luck, they might be making an appearence in the September release.
That is all for today. I'll be putting the poll up later today when I get a chance for those of you waiting for it. Everything is looking pretty good at the mo for the release, so barring me getting hit by a bus or a falling piano, release should be on the 30th as planned.

Do you have more plans for specifically cuckold content? Like Rowan being forced to watch and/or secretly watching it happen? I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy it at times.

Woohooo... Something to tide me over as I wait for Baldurs Gate 3 to release. Maybe Hooky will get that feedback after all!
