News From the Six Realms #68 - So close!

Bit of a funny one last month, quite a large drop off that we haven't recovered from, I'm assuming that it is just the time of the year, but as always, we push on, and we have been busy working on getting our last release for 2021 ready for next weekend.
Content wise, everything is coming along nicely as usual. Unfortunately Hooky has had some health issues, so the rest of the intro rewrite will likely be pushed to the next release, but we still have new content for a number of NPC arcs (Cla-min, Liurial, and X'zaratl), as well as a few extra scenes.
On the art front, I have all the linework back now, and it has gone off to our colourist who is finishing up the flats. Sommy has been working on another of his epic cinematic CGs, which you'll be seeing in a later release when it is done. I've got two more sketches of his to share with the backers as well, which I will be doing tomorrow and Thursday, before moving on to sharing finished pieces.
Meanwhile, work on the final mechanics changing is also ongoing. I'm in the process of adding Rein's changes to the map, which will go off to Dragoon to be implemented in January's release after we have had a chance to test them. He (Rein) has also finalized his design for another new mechanical feature, Chaos Incursions, which you will be seeing in the near future.
That's all for today. As previously mentioned, the next release will be on the 28th (a Sunday), and as usual, barring me getting hit by a bus, should be on time. Seriously though, where has this year gone?

I realize that Liurial's gotta have a character arc, but I will miss the more vanilla version of the dungeon scene. I look forward to the new release, and good luck on what comes next!

Highly anticipated release for me. Lots of arcs I am very interested in! Sorry to hear about Hooky; had been wondering what he was up to- hope he is okay. Been missing him in the discord!
