News From the Six Realms #64 - June Tidings

Apologies this is a bit late this month, but as the backers already know, I'm dealing with a nasty case of pericoronitis brought on by my last remaining partially erupted wisdom tooth. I'd say it was about as much fun as a root canal, but I've had a root canal and I much prefer that. Anyway, as a result, this will probably be a pretty short update, but I just wanted to let you know what was going on.
First up, the Steam Summer Sale has just started, and Seeds of Chaos is currently available with a 25% discount. So, if you haven't picked it up yet, but have been meaning to do so, now is a good time. There are discounts all across the Tiny Hat label as well, so check out some of the other games as well.
Moving on - despite my personal woes, progress on the next release has been coming along nicely as usual. The writers are hard at work, and we have more NPC arc content coming at you in the form of Draith and Cla-Min, as well as some other stuff I'll talk about more next month. This month's art quota is almost done, and Sommy is just putting the final touches on colouring the last few CGs, which will be shared with the backers in the next few days.
Some news on the mechanics front - Rein and Dragoon have been working overtime this month to get as much done as possible, and we are now very close to being done. All that is left is for me to recode a bunch of old events and we should have a working prototype. I'm aiming to get that done by the end of next month, so it will not be in the next release, but the current plan is to get it in the one after that. Once it is done, hopefully in August, we will be sharing the prototype with our dev build level backers to help us test it, and iron out as many bugs as possible before we implement it into the core game.
