News From the Six Realms #63 - Make Hay in May

Gonna keep this short today, as I am busy working on the update for next weekend. First up, some sad news - most of you probably have heard by now that Kentaro Miura died earlier in the month at the entirely too young age of 54. Without Berserk, there would be no Seeds of Chaos, so this one was especially hard to take. Fuck this decade so far.
Moving on, the release is coming along as planned, and will be ready for next week on time as always, barring any major catastrophe. I've got all of the art in now from Sommy, and I'm just waiting for the last of the writing to code, which I should have tomorrow. In terms of content, we've got the Shaya finale from Winter, along with X'zaratl once more applying her unique brand of problem solving to Rowan and Alexia relationship (this time concerning her unhealthy dependence on Jezera) from Rein, an assortment of events from Exagie (including her first one for the Draith NPC event).
And finally, an update on the mechanics. Yeah, I know you guys have been waiting a while now, but it was a much bigger task than originally anticipated. When Rein looked at a lot of the old systems, he wanted to overhaul the vast majority of them, which required a lot of design and coding work. I've also had to recode over five years of old content that has been broken by changes to core code, which is no small task, and we've had to manage this while still putting out regular releases on time.
The good news is, we are almost there now. Once this release is done, I'm going to finish up coding the last few events that need changes, and Dragoon is going to focus on the last of the design changes. If all goes well, we hope to have a beta version that we are going to let backers play first, because there's definitely going to be bugs to iron out, in around 4 months. Obviously, this may change if any issues arrive, but as always we will keep you updated.
That's all for today, as mentioned earlier, release will be out next Sunday.

I thought the other chapters will be added to this game, I am not following the patreon page regulary can you explain? Are you going to put different chapters to different games?
I think they were going to make at least 2 more games. This was supposed to just be the first of 3 I think. I may be wrong you should ask Arioch.

I'm waiting for the new mechanics update before I play again and I'm really excited. There will be a lot of new scenes for me to explore!

This was a bug that was fixed ages ago, it only zooms on start now. Make sure you have the latest version.

I'm glad to hear of the mechanics overhaul. Moving on the overworld map gives me a headache. I have to squint because of how it zooms out and in on every step.
