News From The Six Realms #7 - The Future
🕑 Added 2017-06-29 09:26:20 +0000 UTC Hey guys,So not a lot to say about the update today except that we are still working on the last of the events, and I'm hoping to have it to the backers next week, which also means the last backer version will become public. I can say it'll have five new sex scenes though, including more Helayna, more goblins, and two characters who currently don't have any scenes.
What I want to talk about today is the future. This and the previous release have been pretty functional ones, as we've had to improve save compatibility, add breeding pit mechanics, build the core of the spy system, update the map, and balance the game up to this point. With that behind us though, we will spend the next few releases focusing on adding content and extending the turn count. Coming up in the near future, expect to see:
The Job system - I've talked about this before, but for those of you who weren't around, this'll be a system that allows you to assign NPCs to work in different parts of the castle, adding a passive bonus based on the function of that job. These jobs will also trigger NPC events, which will show the NPC and the room operator interacting, and lead to scenes between them if you choose for that to happen. We are also planning specialization paths, which will allow you to decide how you want the NPCs to evolve. Will Alexia, for example, become Jezera's best courtesan spy, Cliohna's number one pupil, or something else entirely?
The Orciad - This is the first story line that the backers voted for a while ago, which will see the player get involved in a feud between two orcs, an older sly warlord, and a young brash warrior, over who owns a recently captured female noblewoman. Rowan will have to ingratiate himself with one party and help them in order to win favour from the warband for the upcoming war. For those of you who have been asking for orc content, it will feature two male orcs, and one female, all of which will have scenes if you choose to aid them.
The Queen of the Fae - We'll also be adding a new story line involving the queen of the fae, designed by the lovely Kassandra Leigh, but we aren't 100% on this one yet, so we are playing it close to our chests for now.
Further in the future, we'll be adding the first nemesis, the first race recruitment quest (goblins), and the first hub (Rastedel), so lots to keep us busy. After that I'll be allowing the backers to vote on which realm they want next, the Frozen Tundra or the Forest of Ealoean.
That's it for today, but a few things to mention before I go. Kassandra's photoshoot will be going out tomorrow, so pledge now if you want to get in on that. I've also been told by other devs that cheats are popular, so I've added the developers build as a reward at $25, which has a debug menu that allows the player to increase gold, xp, etc. instantly finish researches or building, and trigger any event in the game. Lastly, as you can see above, I've received another fantastic background from Erick, this time for X'zratl's dark sanctum.

Hey , firstly I love the content and the game. I wished good rpg with some adult content for years. and years. Game by itself is well done even story and core idea is intriguing. Thats something you dont see at all in this franchise. I would also like to ask where will I have access to developers build with cheats and so one? You mentioned but I can seem to locate the link to dowload, or is it not out yet?

It'll be like a lighter version of that (I don't know if you've played XCOM, but similar to that), in that there won't be stats to train or anything like that, but it will be similar in that it has events, scenes, etc.

First off, great work on whats out so far and looking forward to more. Just for clarification, is the job system going to be or be like the mini-game "Slave Training" inside the bonus section?
