News From The Six Realms #15 - Release, Recent Patreon Suspensions, and More
🕑 Added 2017-10-21 10:10:25 +0000 UTC Okay, so quite a lot has happened since the last time I wrote one of these, and we'll get to that shortly, but first, what everyone really cares about, the release.Everything is going as planned, and we are almost there now. I'm hoping to get the last of the stuff over to nicc to add to the game tomorrow, so fingers crossed, it'll be ready in a few days. Optimistically then, the new release will be out mid-week, but I'm going to set the deadline for next weekend, just in case.
Moving on, you may have heard that Patreon has started to crack down on the content of Patreon pages, and have suspended a number of accounts. I've always been paranoid about this sort of thing, and so far have been okay. Hopefully this will continue to be the case, but I will be making one change in order to be extra careful - I will no longer be posting the public releases here on Patreon. They will however continue to be available from the game's website, and various adult forums.
I could say a few things about this, but at the end of the day Patreon is a business, and they have the legal right to decide they do not want me as a user. I've spent the last few years trying to build up a following so I could make adult games, so I need to stay on their good side, or else everything is screwed.
Lastly, there's still one more reveal for Jessika to come. I'll be posting that in the next few days, so if you've been enjoying Erick's work for the side project, there's something for you to look forward to (in addition to the release, of course). :)
(P.S. I know MDN forgot Alexia's necklace again, he's fixing it.)

We've talked about adding buildings to the goals you have to fulfil, so we will probably add that at some point.

Sounds good, thanks for the response. Is there some way of setting a deadline in-game for having the castle entirely built out at some point? That way you don't have to write for every permutation of how a player has built the castle.
Naturally there's a bunch of content with her while Alexia is working in the Tavern. She's not the focus, otherwise. There are other characters that are short on content that got attention this version, but Indarah is on the list to get more events in the next few versions. The building operators for the buildings you make don't have as much content as other characters that start in the castle. Mainly because we need enough events to make sure you don't run out, in case you never build those buildings.

The tavern pic reminds me, is there any more content with Indarah planned? The tavern is the first thing I build and she barely speaks to you.
