Yet Another Quick Update
🕑 Added 2016-10-27 10:23:07 +0000 UTC Hey all,As promised, here is a quick update on progress. I now have the initial commission of eleven tiles back from Hikari, and DM is almost done with the base code for map generation. I still need to spend some time getting my head around it, and do some testing, therefore I'm hoping to get the next release out next weekend (5th-6th). In the meantime, we'll start work on improving the castle stuff. There's a few things that need doing to existing stats (redesigning how resources work, creating a more robust army system), and with an explorable world I need to change my plans for research as it seems counterproductive to make players miss turns (I'm thinking something more along the lines of Civ research trees, where you set Cliohna researching for x turns, depending on what you choose). Hopefully that'll be ready 1-2 weeks after the next release, and from then on, DM will be working purely on adding events.
In art news, haven't really had the money to spend on CGs this month with having to sort the map out, but I had already commissioned one from momdadno. I just got the sketch back this morning, so I'm sharing it with you guys. This is for Alexia's first "etiquette" training with Jezera, and the theme is proper bedroom attire. ;)

Hey Dink, almost done with the last of the big programming jobs, so in a week or two it'll be full steam ahead with content. :)

So, I've been letting my attention wander and just allowing this project simmer until there's a bit more game in it. :) How goes things? Feel like you're making solid progress now? :)
