🕑 Added 2022-05-17 07:53:33 +0000 UTCsooo... i was going to wait until i had the final references ready, but i just couldn't help myself so, here's some character studies i'm doing for my short comic! (੭´͈ ᐜ `͈)੭
I'm working with the super sweet cute_hospital on a short slice-of-life story i'd like to translate into a comic, which will see a small group of art friends in their journey through the first experiences in living together, university and artistic struggles!
These probably aren't the final designs as i just wanted to fix the concept on a canvas, so the anatomy and expressions are wonky on the fullbodies... but! i made headshots to try and doodle them out.
As you can see, Celeste was the only one i clearly had in mind design wise, while Mia and Nico are still a WIP.
There's two other main characters i have to design, and some other secondary ones ... oh, and a doggie too!
I'm very excited about this project, and i pray for it to remain a light-hearted comic and not something i'll die finishing.. _(:3」∠)_

i LOOOVE fanarts, but since this project has yet to be launched i'd love if it could be kept a surprise until the official announcement! the designs will probably be finalized and refined so it's possible they'll als slightly change. thank you so much for the consideration though, i'm so glad you like them! Cel is my fav too TT__TT
OMG How are you about others drawing fanart of your characters? Because Celeste's design is gorgeous and I'm tempted but wouldn't want to step on any toes

i also think green suited her a lot.. maybe i'll keep that as a secondary color since she tends to change it often! i'm also unsure on the pink eyes cause everything's super pink...

I know the vote option on twitter was v unpopular, but I honestly love the green hair on Alice <3 also v excited to see a poc in your style!!
