V.19b - Something weird at the ruins?

After long last, we got some story content baby~! We're VERY CLOSE to releasing our Act 2 publicly on Itch! This is a huge landmark since this'll open a few doors for us to focus on:
- One is a huge rewrite and transfer to a cleaner foundation.
- Steam integration, with persisting saves and all that jazz.
- Act 3 Content!
- Once act 3 is started and the new characters are introduced, we can start focusing more on making assets for the Collab Patreons as well!
Of course, that is still a bit away. For now, let's talk about this build, and what's left before the public release!
So what's new with this build?
- Act 2 Capstone Quest! - (Not really a quest, but an event.) This will trigger as soon as you deliver the wool to the Coyotes! Take a look and enjoy a taste of what's coming for the Plot of the Forest!
- Added the Sweater! With it you can access the coldest parts of the mountain. (And finally finish the "Warm and Cozy" quest!) You must complete the Capstone Event first, then the sweater will be ready to pick up!
- Added Rascal's first date with Dustin and Mabel, with full color illustration. (Dates spawn near Maverick's shop. This date will spawn in Central Forest with 100% chance, but you need to finish the preceding date with Dustin and Mabel first, which also spawns with 100% chance in this build.)
- Particle Systems Baby! Technically, the cum dripping in the plant mini-game was our first dive into particle systems, but we took another dive recently. It's use is heavy in the capstone event! But also we've got some other things planned to just spark up the polish in the future!
- Rascal's got a shnazzy new portrait, and I've updated the main portrait so he looks a little less mad haha.

That's what we've got prepped so far! I wanna make a quick list of what's left to tackle before we get this ready for Act 2's public release.
Content wise:
- Bucky and Oliver's Animation
- July Poll's Date
- Dustin's "Novice" difficulty challenge! Complete with several new attacks, and shnazzy new sound effects!
- Revamped Music!
- New Title Screen
- New Critter Idle's to reflect the Act 2 Capstone Event.
Polish wise:
- Fix the critter notifications
- Misc art asset polishes.
- Implement Particle Effects
- Misc. timing adjustments.
There's a few bugs we need to iron out:
- Penny Perches break and need a scene change after loading a game.
- Finley Freezes? (Might still be a thing, this one's hard to test)
- Anything else!
Going forward, very soon here, we will be opening a new Discord Channel for folks interested in play testing for us. You guys already help a tremendous amount normally, but this new group will have instructions for how to access and use the Dev Console, so folks can help troubleshoot bugs a lot quicker. If you're interested in this, keep an eye out!

For now - our builds don’t support persistent saves but it is something we are working on! For now you can hop around with the chapter select function of the game. Hit escape to bring up the options or hit C to bring up chapter select specifically

Hi :) I'm currently facing with the same problem as MiBrony. I've received all of the collectables except for one. And I think it's the Mabel/Penny date scene too, because they are the only ones who I can't talk to. But I love this game regardless :3

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I can't get the wool for the sweater even though I sheared Finley once. Do I have to wait till he gets more or have I screwed myself over?
Hi, I want to report a bug: the Mabel/Penny date is not showing any dialogues (the "!"), I collect all the stuff I can collect but a missing pic in the gallery. I tried messing up with the savefile and the picture showed up so it's not an unfinished date, but I can't get any dialogue shows up when Penny and Mabel are on the dating site even after a fresh replay from scratch. The F1 log didn't show any error/warning either.
