5/24 weekly report
Finished revamping the south side of the river in Central Forest. This includes moving Maverick's shop to the right of the pathways, reorienting all critter dates around a new meeting location, and adjusting world boundaries near the treeline.
Added new coyotes gossip with an illustrated scene.
Added new date for the coyotes and Finley, with an illustrated scene.
This week I'll finish adding our May content & make the monthly Patreon builds! ^^

On my side, I spent a good chunk of time exploring the finalizing workflow with Clip Studio for pixel animation! I color dropped the Melody animations, made a 2nd alternate loop, AND the final climax image in this to test the workflow! This is super jumping the gun, it's basically 1/3rd of the first animation of Act 3, but I wanted to test this workflow out in a single character setting first. Things seem pretty solid, so i'll be working on a 2 character one next.
That 2 character was some content we had planned a while ago, but the lack of animation was holding us up! I did a teaser showing a WIP loop a while ago with Bucky and Oliver - and that Gossip/Date sequence should be showing up in this build :> The animation's not done for it, but we'll have a WIP in so y'all can enjoy it!
Other than the animation, I've been needing to take it easy again. =( My eyes seem to be having issues again, so I can't be on the computer too long currently. I'm able to treat the symptoms (sorta), but it's been puzzling to say the least. I did just get a new pair of glasses so I'm hoping a more up-to-date prescription is gonna massively help. I'll be seeing a corneal specialist in the next couple weeks to look at longer term solutions and options. my eyes are CRIIINGE yo Dx
But I have been squeezing in more and more writing time. Act 3 is coming along smoothly! Lots of fun content, and I'm really stoked for how the interactions will be opening up for the player as time goes on :>
