Let's start by seeing what Vixel's been up to!
1/11 weekly report
I added a couple of new conversations to continue the main storyline from the last build. (The coyotes have something new to say!) Also added a solo story for Mabel (including new full color artwork!) that can be accessed through her Gossip menu. Then I partially finished adding a second story for Mabel and Dustin. ^^
I also finally fixed a design issue in our movie player in Unity, that was cutting off the left and right edges of ALL sex scenes and story/legend artwork! :O That means you'll be able to watch the sex scenes in their proper aspect now, with no edge-cropping. ^^
Additionally, I worked on creating some Unity package files and a tutorial video that we can use to get additional developers up to speed for helping with some of the coding work. I'm SUPER excited about that prospect! :O (The package files let a developer quickly import scripts and art assets into a blank Unity project so they can get right to coding. I had to isolate and tweak scripts for Red's movement mechanic, our input system, and a few other areas to make them more portable.)
The rest of this week I'll be finishing scripting the full bunny cuck scene, the Mabel+Dustin story, and a few more conversations for other critters -- then will be making the monthly builds! ^^

Let's Talk Art!
On my side, I finally finished the entire bunny cuck scene! Super proud of how it came out! Things were pretty complicated, and Vixel will be stringing up a fun system to pilot it all. Can't wait to see it in action! I think this scene really helped me figure out the full workflow to do these animations "as quick," as fun, and as manageable as possible! It took some zero-ing in, but I've learned a lot about the pixel design aesthetic, and its strengths and weaknesses in terms of visual qualities, AND workflow qualities.
I'll be jumping into Finley and Rascal's scene soon!
Other than that, I've just about finished Mabel and Dustin's scene! Have a sneak peak!

Let's Talk Writing!
A majority of what I've been doing this week has been Act 3 Prep! Obsidian has been making this progress an absolute dream, and our Act 3 "Vault" has gone from 600 words, to about 6000 over the past week! And that's basically only a third of Act 3!
It's still a long ways out, but I'm really excited for how this is all going to progress! It was a blast writing this stuff out. At this point, a majority of the characters are introduced and their character is established - so now it's all about mashing them together or putting them in situations and seeing how they play it out. It's like, RPing with myself! IS THIS WHY PEOPLE RP???
Anywho, I wanted to make sure I get a good amount of Act 3 detailed out so we have a clear direction forward, but there's a ton of additional stuff we need to do for Act 2 still. Aside from the act 2 capstone event.
- Additional gossips
- additional >new mechanic not revealed yet< (has to do with some of these additional illustrations)
- additional >other new mechanic not revealed< (has to do with those "powerups" I mentioned earlier)
- production on mini games
- couple more sex scenes
- whoever's new stories etc!
OK! That's it for this week! No ETA on the build yet, but soon! It's got some goodies in it :>!
