Been crunching this week to finish the scripting for our monthly build! It's close, but not quite show-ready. :O
This month we added a fair bit of new interactive stuff, a new room to explore, lots of dialogues and a few gossips, various cutscenes and a couple new naughty scenes for the Gallery. Some of the new content is backdated (a dialogue from last month's build triggers a new quest we added this month) so I need to write a savegame upgrade script. The Melody animated scene has a few tricky elements that require extra coding. Also getting a weird bug with Charlotte's gossips that I have to figure out!
I'll continue working to get this stuff debugged and ready to share with yall in a few days! <3

On my side my house has still been out of commission due to that plumbing stuff =(! Today we were able to sign off on the project and this Thursday it should be started AND done. Crazy. The cost was nuts lmao, if y'all are home owners, look into insurance for your "service line" for the plumbing. It's what connects the main lines, to your actual house plumbing. Lots of insurances don't cover that off the bat, and that USUALLY requires excavating street/sidewalks in order to fix xD! SO GET INSURED PEEPS!
Or just don't own a home because who can do that in 2022 anyways.
ANYWHO! Other than that I've been doing some random assets that need doing here and there when I can. I've also been doodling a bit here and there. Up above is a sketch of one of the horses from the Tangled cartoon! It's pretty dope btw, check it out if you dig cartoons :> All the more so if ya thought the movie was dope!

OK we do have some big updates for y'all.
Despite our best efforts, the monthly game build isn't ready yet. It's a kinda nice lil chunk of content, so there's just a good amount that needs to happen. I will also be at BLFC starting tomorrow, so I won't be around to help troubleshoot or launch the build, so instead we figured no point in super rushing it, and we can release it after I'm back.
Vixel and I also did more talking and realized something. Adding Main Campaign content is NOT sustainable until we completely move to the Upgrade Project. At this point, we've been basically adding the content to TWO projects simultaneously. Not to mention all the back tracking and extra work that's required to make a build "feel complete" despite not intending to end wherever we stopped working for the month.
All that's to say the next few months (Or more, really, however long it takes) will still have Builds. But it'll be non-linear content again. Now that we have Charlotte and Melody, I can spend some time fleshing them out even more and get y'all involved in what kind of content we can see from them :> I also have a few other side stories I'd like to flesh out (An Arch for Maverick and his lady friend)
There's still A LOT of content I need to be doing for Act 3 Story stuff, let alone Act 4 story stuff, that has a TON of new areas, systems, and interactions going on. So really there's no shortage of stuff that needs to be done. But it'll be nice to focus on some smaller stories for a bit :> I'm gonna aim for having 2 scenes of illustrations done for each month for however long this needs. Should be fun!
