V.2r1! Bug Fixes, QoL Cheats, Persistent Non-Linear Content!
🕑 Added 2021-11-24 07:13:11 +0000 UTCOK FOLKS~! This one should have all of the bug fixes and some QoL cheats! If you guys wouldn't mind giving it a shot for us, that'd be super great!
Act 2 Revision 1 (r1) changelog:
- Added savegame archiving mechanism that attempts to auto recover if a savegame seems corrupted.
- Dates, gossips, gifts and movie unlocks now stay saved during chapter select.
- Fixed bug in Penny & Mabel date causing the interaction menu to break.
- Fixed bug allowing players to summon Penny while she was on a date.
- Fixed bug allowing players to deliver the wool to coyotes while they're on a date.
- Fixed bug allowing one of Bucky's dates to spawn before Act 2.
- Fixed missing cumshot in the 18th story scene in start menu gallery.
- Updated start menu to always remember Act unlocks for the Play menu, even when deleting the savegame from start menu options.
Added new cheat codes!
- Skip the plant quest minigame (type "plant" once the minigame starts, after fucking the plant)
- Reset hits in the Dustin dash minigame (type "hits" after the minigame starts)
- Activate invincibility in the Dustin dash minigame (type "safe" after the minigame starts)
- Unlock all chapters for chapter select (type "story" in the start menu or pause menu)
- Unlock & auto-complete all gossips (type "gossip" in the pause menu)
- Unlock & auto-complete all dates (type "date" in the pause menu)
(Don't forget "movies" entered in the gallery will unlock all videos/scenes!

This is one of our first builds that has separate Non Linear and Linear saved content! Once you unlock a chapter in chapter select, it will remain unlocked permanently! Gossips, Dates, AND Gifts persist between chapter selecting! (Some other items might change though. I.E. Wood amount/Coin Amount)
So you can beat everything, unlock it all, then chapter select around and everything should be solid! It's VERY possible something is broken through all this, so if you find anything funky happening, please let us know!
We DO NOT (likely) support save transfers from your last game. Unfortunately the non-linear/linear systems changed enough to proooobably not work, so if you want to skip collecting everything, then you can quickly unlock stuff via the cheats! Unlocking all the chapters, then all of the gossips sets you up nice and easy to grind all the dates. Or just unlock it all via the codes!
This is an important feature we need to get, but at this point we need to push this out the door since the rewrite will have different elements here anyways. No sense writing 2 different solutions for the same problem, especially since this is likely one of the last builds on this solution.
Anywho, we will likely update this on Itch.io very soon if we don't hear any major bug reports from y'all!

Hey thanks a ton <3 we appreciate it! Hmm the illustration didn’t show even with the “movies” cheat? It may be the one from Dustin’s mini game. Ya gotta do the novice mode without getting hit. But they should also show with the movies cheat :0!
hey i have to say I love the work you and everyone puts out from the music to the illustrations to the movies and even the dialogue its all amazing and I cant wait till the next update, also there is one illustration that is still a mystery i completed everything and I used the cheats to see if that would unlock the last illustration and didn't work, its the 18th illustration

It does visually "reset" where you are, but it unlocks and completes all of the dates. It's for folks who've already unlocked it all etc!

Just finished act 2 free version, gotta support this. Its super adorable n.n Id love to see some more m/m bottoming content, other than just the flower lol

using "date" just resets the level and doesn't unlock anything

I remember played an early version from IB a year ago. Now it has so much more content. Yesterday spent about 3 hours playing. Thanks for the awesome game) Can't wait to see the rest of the story.
